In the first line of the synopsis we are told that an evil Genie is jealous of the fact that Cephise loves/or is loved by "Achante" (sic). The name given in the printed libretto to which the article refers us is spelt "Acante" (unfortunately the Bibliotheque Nationale listing you get when you refer to it spells "Acante" according to the libretto but "la Sympathie" as "la Sympatie" on no very obviously available grounds). The Erato CD recording issued in 2022 uses "Achante" too. On the grounds that Rameau didn't, and that folk usually seem to respect his choices, perhaps Wikipedia should follow his example (and Girdlestone's, too) and give the Bibliotheque Nationale time to come to its senses about "la Sympathie".Delahays (talk) 21:42, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
