Changing this redirect in to an article
editI would like to change this redirect in to an article as the AOL artcle (which this links to) doesn't decribe what an AOLer is and isn't really a good place for the information. Please see WP:REDIRECT#PLA which describes the principle of least astonishment. All input is welcome. Thanks. - Hydroxonium (talk) 21:52, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
- You'd have to have some firm evidence for that: AOLer is not quite Eternal September level. I don't believe that there are sufficient reliable sources to warrant an article on the general concept of the "AOL noob" right now. - I will look to see if there is anything reliabel. If not, how about a soft redirect to a Wikitionary article? - Hydroxonium (talk) 04:37, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- I don't see that as being more appropriate than the current redirect. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward: not at work) - talk 08:25, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the input. I'll look for a significant number of reliable sources over the next few weeks. I have to agreee with you that it's highly unlikely I'll find them. How about expanding the AOLer information in the Eternal September article and pointing the redirect there? Thanks. - Hydroxonium (talk) 17:51, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
