Around the year 6536, Wikipedia will announce it needs approximately 45 Quadrillion dollars to continue operations on the Interplanetary Internet.

Um...wtf? -Bob rulz

The exact date it will need 45 Quadrillion US dollars to continue its operations is June 3, 6542. I thought everyone knew that... jk Dexter111344 18:25, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Date fix?

Could an astronomer fix this? 6727 August 25: Mars occults Regulus the first time since −17619 June 28 Im assuming 17619 is BC? But I don't know where to find that kind of information.

See astronomical year numbering. Because 1 BC = 0, 2 BC = -1, etc., then –17619 = 17620 BC. — Joe Kress 06:26, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

First since 1961?

What about 2002? 2112? 5005? (only in some fonts...) 5 is at least as invertible as 1, and 2 almost as much. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.222.33.146 (talk) 15:54, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

2002, yes - in seven-segment display, and 5005, too... 2112 (and 5115, which you didn't even mention) - probably not, but very close. And on the "some fonts" thing - I remember seeing some font where 2007 is invertible... And I'm not joking. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.77.77.42 (talk) 20:45, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Westinghouse Time Capsules

I think the Westinghouse Time Capsules should be mentioned in the Other category. They are intended to be opened in 6939. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.217.78.194 (talk) 02:35, 3 October 2013 (UTC)

A simultaneous solar eclipse and transit of Mercury, BUT I CANNOT FIND ANY PROOF!!

For one of the astronomical events, the article claims: "6757 July 5: There is anticipated to be a simultaneous solar eclipse and transit of Mercury, the first such simultaneous eclipse and planetary transit in recorded history". This is referenced, but the website has expired, leaving no proof. I have tried searching the date for eclipses and transits on Wolfram Alpha and Celestia, but they do not list any solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, or mercurial transits. I do not have the means to investigate this, but can someone please look into it?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.70.0.62 (talk) 02:13, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
