Shows with hiatuses exacerbated by COVID in Shows returning

How should we handle it? Do they qualify?--141.157.254.24 (talk) 20:35, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

CNN+

So we know it’s launching in this year. We could probably add it to channel launches, but the reason I’ve refrained is because its mission statement, its purpose, its function, is still very unclear, and it would be weird to leave that whole cell that would be used to describe it blank--CreecregofLife (talk) 05:14, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Coverage question

Does the story about eOne (an American company) suing over a Vietnamese-produced rip-off of Peppa Pig fall under this page’s jurisdiction?--CreecregofLife (talk) 05:28, 26 January 2022 (UTC)

When should we start 2023?

By my count there are at least 5 series confirmed for 2023 thus far: Batman Caped Crusader, My Adventures with Superman (both for CN/HBO Max), Win or Lose for Disney+, the new Monster High series on Nickelodeon, and just announced today, Hailey's On It! for Disney Channel. Is it too soon to start a 2023 page?

EDIT: Moana, Tiana, Iwaju and X-Men '97 for Disney+, Pupstruction for Disney Junior, Grimsburg for Fox too--141.157.254.24 (talk) 17:27, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

And Jessica's Little Big World was bumped to '23 too--CreecregofLife (talk) 00:26, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Edit warring

@CreecregofLife: and @FilmandTVFan28: Please don't edit war on this page. Semi-protection has been requested and the offending IP's have been reported (Edit: and now blocked). I advise you to do the same in the future. TomCat4680 (talk) 22:36, 21 February 2022 (UTC)

It may be difficult not to get involved in a edit war, but I will do as you say. If only that unregistered user wasn't so mean and bossy all the time and that's been going on since 2016. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 23:15, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
Just ignore and report the trolls. They're not going to change their political beliefs because you disagree with them. TomCat4680 (talk) 23:45, 21 February 2022 (UTC)

The trio of Adult Swim show movies

We’re considering them DTV films, right? Not TV?--CreecregofLife (talk) 19:24, 20 March 2022 (UTC)

Discovery Family Go

It’s shutting down May 2. I don’t remember if the Watch Disney Channel and XD rebranding into DisneyNOW got covered, but I’m thinking that shouldn’t stop us. In addition, if Discovery Family itself shuts down this year, let it take over Discovery Family Go’s cell, while mentioning “It was preceded by the shutdown of its TV Everywhere app Discovery Family Go on May 2.” Thoughts?--CreecregofLife (talk) 21:37, 23 April 2022 (UTC)

Seems fine to me. TomCat4680 (talk) 21:39, 23 April 2022 (UTC)

Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend

It’s the next Iron Chef revival! By its personalities it seems to be another America format change, but does it belong more on the Debuts page like it already is or does it belong in the Shows returning section of the main page? Personally, I’m willing to let it stay on the Debuts page, treat it as just “the next series”, not quite a reboot, not quite a revival, the sort of thing I’ve allotted Transformers, TMNT, My Little Pony and Degrassi. I would like to hear what you guys think, establish a clear game plan, that sort of thing.--CreecregofLife (talk) 09:38, 3 May 2022 (UTC)

The Chicken Squad and TOTS

The respective pages for these two Disney Junior shows has gotten a lot of attention from anonymous or so editors claiming that both shows have ended. While they don’t have sources with them, I’m inclined to agree with them where I normally wouldn’t. While there’s no explicit statement it is absent from not one, but two places where it should be if it was going to continue. In reverse order, we have this press release about Disney TVA’s slate from Annecy 2022, and this for Disney Junior from April’s upfronts. But is absences from articles where it should be mentioned enough to mean that it’s over in the eyes of Wikipedia? Pinging @Tvtonightokc @SigKauffman54 @TheDeadRatInTheCornerOfMyRoom52 @Mrschimpf @TomCat4680 as frequent editors and present observers of the page for their thoughts CreecregofLife (talk) 20:53, 3 July 2022 (UTC)

Bravo! (not the network)

I just want to give a shout out to whomever is editing and maintaining this page. I'm a film professor at Columbia University, so I tend to think I'm pretty up on this stuff -- but I learned a lot reading this article. Well done, folks! Jhlechner (talk) 22:54, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
