Talk:2014 Oxford City Council election

Percentage changes edit

While putting together the Oxford City Council election, 2016 page, I realised that this page (2014) actually compares the Results by Ward to the election 4 years previously, 2010, even though it says in the Summary section that it is comparing with 2 years previously, 2012. I don't know why this is, but after discussing it on the 2016 page (Talk:Oxford City Council election, 2016), we've gone with comparing with the most recent previous election, which is what is explicitly stated anyway.

Would anyone have a problem with changing this page's plus/minuses in the results by ward section to compare with the 2012 election rather than 2010? Kastrel (talk) 10:04, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

UKIP total vote, and party percentages edit

I calculate the total vote for the 6 UKIP candidates in 2014 as 1,228, which means the figure of 935 in the results table is wrong. It looks as though the 293 votes from Barton and Sandhills were omitted by mistake. This also means that the percentages for all parties are incorrect, along with the percentage changes shown in the Oxford City Council election, 2016 article. I'll try to correct this when I have more time (focusing on the 2018 article at the moment). EmphasisMine (talk) 20:24, 2 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I've corrected the UKIP total and the party-level percentages in this article. I've also recalculated the party-level percentage changes at Oxford City Council election, 2016 based on the correct 2014 figures. EmphasisMine (talk) 18:35, 3 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
