W-League in this article

edit

Seems out of place, IMO it should have its own article: 2013–14 Brisbane Roar W-League season. Thoughts? I can understand the NYL team being in this article as players can play for both teams, but including the W-League results is just random (WP:WHENSPLIT??). A club specific W-League article would probably fail WP:GNG, so perhaps results should just be left to the 2013–14 W-League article. Ck786 (talk) 00:06, 1 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

It is the same team (Brisbane Roar), and the managerial layer can move between them. I don't think there is enough for a seperate page...
also, they share some stuff in the pre-season, like both teams played Olympic FC

NYL Football box

edit

Any reason some locations for NYL fixtures say they're played in specific suburbs such as "Yeronga", "Epping", "Inglewood" and "Albert Park" and others are cities, such as "Adelaide", "Canberra", "Sydney", "Gosford" and "Newcastle"?? It should be one or the other. IMO for consistency, it should be Cities, not suburbs. Otherwise the first team game locations should change to "Milton", "Docklands", "Moore Park", etc. Thoughts? Just noticed for the First Team, WSW away location is "Parramatta". Should this not be "Sydney"? Basically, are we looking at Council's or metropolitan areas? Ck786 (talk) 06:42, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I agree with you that it should be cities. However we already had a discussion about this. Should we reopen it? --SuperJew (talk) 07:13, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I don't think it needs to be. Every other A-League team season article uses Cities. On consistency alone, this page should as well. Ck786 (talk) 20:42, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

NYL NPL Side Fixtures/Stats/Results etc

edit

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on having the Youth team's NPL campaign in the season page under Youth.

That's funny, I was in the process of adding it when you posted your question. I'm all for it and I see no reason to not have it. Also I added it last season for Newcastle Jets. --SuperJew (talk) 14:28, 9 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Completely agree with you. I'll be there for most of their home games so should be able to get the reports and such. Protenpinner (talk) 10:33, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Season updates

All updates for the season have now been done. Only NPL needs to be regularly updated. Protenpinner (talk) 18:37, 11 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
