• For Arsenal, Gus Caesar came in place of the injured Steve Bould.
• It was a contest between the respective champions of the Football League and Southern League, and then by 1913 teams of amateur and professional players. (ambiguous)
• In 1921, it was played by the Football League champions and FA Cup winners for the first time; (accuracy)

• Not sure what is inaccurate about this?

• the formation of a new top-tier division, the Premier League in 1992, meant it displaced the Football League spot. (this is 70 years later so deserves its own sentence)

• Thanks for taking the time to review the article. I chose not to incorporate that information in Ref 7 because it's somewhat irrelevant/mentioned discreetly in the article already. • Good. A couple of things about the image. First it is lacking a caption. Secondly it explicitly mentions Tennent's as a main sponsor, was it actually known as the Tennent's F.A. Charity Shield as displayed on the programme? There is nothing about this at all in the article. I would be interested to know your thoughts on this. C679 18:40, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

Have added caption. Most of the Charity/Community Shield articles which have been promoted to GA don't refer to the sponsors; in most cases there isn't any sourcable and/or relevant information to add. Lemonade51 (talk) 18:53, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
