I'm wondering if the "Events" should go above albums released (under the intro paragraphs at the top).. since the events in most cases would be more of use to people than a long list of LP releases... I guess the same thing could happen on the year in television & film articles. What does everyone else think? I'll gladly help reorganize the pages, but I didn't want to do it without getting some input. - Jazz77

Yep. Tokerboy and I agreed on the same thing at the standards page. --mav
OK, cool. I'll help rearrange things. I'm assuming birthdays and deaths would stay at the bottom? Or should those move up too? -Jazz77
I moved my suggestions for the arrangement to Wikiproject:Music standards, as that just makes more sense. Tokerboy

Punk

I've expanded the paragraph on the punk explosion, adding albums by Wire, The Damned and Skrewdriver, the formation of Black Flag, Crass and others, and mentioning punk-related bands' releases, by Motorhead, Talking Heads etc. I've also changed it to explicitly mention the "punk explosion".

This list, I believe is incorrect. Refer United World Chart 1977 Counddown. This list from UWC is referencable whereas the one showing is not, and they are an authority of chart statistics. I also find it hard to fathom why KMKY by ABBA was considered to be non top5 on this list when you compare it to Baccara, which wasn't that big in comparison 60.234.242.196 (talk) 21:02, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
