Chamber seat figures edit

@Yilku1: Many thanks for expanding this article series. For this article, the seat figures for the Chamber are a bit odd.

From my count of the elected members listed in the source, the Colorados have 70 and the Nationalists/Civic Nationalists 51 (based on where the two ran, I calculate the split to be 34/17), a total of 121.

However, this is two short of the 123 total. Also, there are some discrepancies within the source:

The number of members listed for some departments does not match the seat division:
- Montevideo has 35 listed (34 seats)
- Rocha has three listed (4)
- Artigas has two listed (3)
- Tacuarembo has four listed (5)
All 10 members listed as elected in Canelones are from the PC despite the Civic Nationlists winning the most votes there.
The seat figures in Tacuarembo seem to be divided 50/50 between the parties

I had problems with this article too, I got the seats from the Spanish Wikipedia. I think the best thing is to leave it blank. Yilku1 (talk) 22:01, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
