I added a tag to this article for not being in English, which the creator has removed while continuing to add non-English content. I haven't encountered this before, so I'd like to get some feedback on how to proceed. West Eddy (talk) 03:33, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Interesting one. It seems we have someone promoting a list of Mongolian Rulers from Ghengis Khan to 8th Jetsun Dampa Khutughtu and Bogd Khan - covers a multitude of areas from warfare to Buddhism. I doesn't help that the author is writing in Mongolian Cyrillic(I thought it was Cyrillic but got caught out - My bad). Evidently content should be in English - but it seems that there are no Wiki translators who do Mongolian to English.

Who ever it is has manage to link to the right pages for Genghis Khan and Kublai Khan. I wonder, if I throw in a link to Bogd Khan and the other Khan's would it get a positive reaction? Assume good faith, and all that.

It's an interesting one. It seems that officially the page should go - but it also looks like someone is doing a good job of countering some Systemic Bias. Be BOLD, IAR, TTRLT - it may be an idea to see if the page can be saved and Wiki's lack of Mongolian History addressed? Given the links to Chinese History, Buddhism ... and about a Billion people, it may have some value.

Maybe I'm mad - and as a new Wikipedian, a novice with all the wrong attitudes and ideas. I will learn as time passes to just delete pages in Mongolian Cyrillic and run away screaming. But ... you never know!

Is there a page tag that says "Work In Progress - Don't Disturb"? I'm wondering who I can track down who can do a translation?

Have found a Mongolian to English Babel machine http://www.bolor-toli.com/ and a forum! Media-Hound 'D 3rd P^) (talk) 02:05, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Oh the page has been redirected to another page. Pity. It seems that who ever was writing in Mongolian was Listing The Dynastic History and not just the a list of individuals. Ah well now we are unlikely to ever know!Media-Hound 'D 3rd P^) (talk) 09:46, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
