Football
editThe football section of TSV Melchiorshausen plays in the Landesliga Bremen, which is part of the Bremen Football Association (Bremer Fußball-Verband).
The club first reached the Landesliga Niedersachsen/Bremen (the highest regional league at the time) in 1948, but was relegated after just one season. They later played five seasons in the Verbandsliga Bremen between 1992 and 1997, achieving their highest ever league finish of 5th place in the 1995/96 season. Since then, the club has spent time in both the Landesliga Bremen and the Bremen-Liga[5] (the highest regional league).
The most recent promotion to the Bremen-Liga[6] came in 2016, but they were relegated again after just one season in 2017.
