Sugo Dam (Japanese: 菅生ダム(再)) is a gravity dam located in Hyogo Prefecture in Japan. The dam is used for flood control. The catchment area of the dam is 8.7 square kilometres (3.4 sq mi). The dam impounds about 13 hectares (32 acres) of land when full and can store 1,950,000 cubic metres (69,000,000 cu ft) of water. The construction of the dam was started on 2005 and completed in 2010.[1]
