Spine Marketing Consultancy

Spine Marketing Consultancy is a quasi-state agency and movie production focused on communication and production.[1] Among movies crated with the support of Spine are Hollywood blockbusters Bloody Daddy, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Dune: Part Two.[2] It is a partner of Abu Dhabi Film Commission as the state-authorized movie film production studio and is working with the Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his initiative on movie industry expansion of the UAE.

Spine is based in Dubai, the UAE, with satellite offices in Lebanon, servicing the whole Middle East region.[3]

History

Spine Marketing Consultancy was founded by Saad Gharzeddine in Dubai, UAE, in 2018.[4][5] The company started operations focusing initially on providing movie shooting, communication strategies and consulting services for local and regional brands, with a strong emphasis on strategic communication insights derived from aggregated data analysis.[6][7]

In 2019, the firm expanded its services to include the creative execution of communication strategies and content production for both digital and traditional media.[8] That same year, Spine also began offering strategic social media strategies and content execution.[9] By 2020, the company started producing advertising photography, films, series, and social media content.[10][11] Additionally, Spine has been involved in managing events, notably for the launch of regional automotive brands, since 2020. Spine is also responsible for the UAE international branding and communication.[12] In 2023, it received the bronze Effie award for the Al-Futtaim Toyota campaign titled "How Drive To Survive Upended Marketing Strategy".[13][14]
