The South India Film Festival 2024 is a film festival organized by Aha[1] and People Media Factory, at Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad. The festival aimed to celebrate and promote the diverse heritage of South Indian cinema. The inaugural edition of the festival was launched on March 22, 2024.[2]

Inauguration

- Discovering Future Directors: SIFF's goal is to discover and nurture the next big director for Telugu cinema, poised to helm national blockbusters.
- Panel Discussions: Various panels covered different aspects of Telugu cinema, including Gen Z's perspective on the industry and insights into successful film formulas. Notable participants included new-age directors Sai Rajesh and Sailesh Kolanu, who engaged in insightful conversations with Prema Malini.[8]
