Golestan Sistani are a group of Sistani people who settled in Golestan.[1][2][3] This group migrated from Sistan to Golestan for several reasons.[4] The Sistani people living in Golestan province have the same culture and language as other Sistani people.

According to the agreements of Paris and Goldsmith, a large part of Sistan with its population was handed over to Afghanistan. But the people of Sistan entered Sistan, which belonged to Iran, in droves. The masses of people who returned to the borders of Iran faced a critical situation; Because they had left all their possessions on the other side of the border and returned to their homeland, and the drought prevailing in the land of Sistan doubled these problems. This large population, in addition to the drought, had become a problem for Sistan, so the Sistani tribes were forced to migrate to other areas. became the north of the country.[5][6][7]
