Shoal Point is a coastal suburb in the Mackay Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census Shoal Point had a population of 977 people.[3]

Shoal Point is a headland at the north-east of the locality (21°00′03″S 149°09′28″E / 21.0009°S 149.1577°E).[4][5]
The waters and inlets of the Coral Sea form the eastern and northern boundaries, and most of the western.[6]

In the 2016 census Shoal Point had a population of 977 people.[3]
Amenities edit
The Mackay Regional Council operates a mobile library service on a fortnightly schedule at O'Brien Esplanade.[7][8]
