Rust To Glory is a 2024 documentary adventure film produced and created by Andrew G. Szabo, founder of the Budapest-Bamako Rally centering on the world's largest amateur off-road rally. Filming took place during the 2022 edition of the event.

Plot

The film follows the story of three junk yard rescues, a 40 year old French Renault 20, an Indian made Hindustan Ambassador, and a communist era Czechoslovakian Skoda 120. The three cars get rebuilt by three teams to line up at the start line of the Budapest-Bamako Rally in the Hungarian capital. The documentary follows the trials and tribulations of the three teams before reaching the finish line in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
