Rawhi Mushtaha (Arabic: روحي مشتهى; died 2024) was a Palestinian militant and a founding member of Hamas. He was the head of the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip. In October 2024, it was announced that he had been killed in an Israeli airstrike three months earlier.[1][2][3][4]
Biography
In 2012, Mushtaha was elected to serve as a member of the political bureau of Hamas. In 2015, his name was added to the US State Department's list of specially declared global terrorists, along with Muhammad Deif and Yahya Sinwar.[5]
