Provincial Assembly of Province No. 5

The Provincial Assembly of Province No. 5 also known as the Province No. 5 Pradesh Sabha, (Nepali: प्रदेश न. ५ प्रदेश सभा) is a unicameral governing and law making body of Province No. 5, one of the 7 Provinces in Nepal, and is situated at Butwal, the interim province capital of Province No. 5, with 60 Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPA).

Following the win of the left alliance in the 2017 election, the current Chief Minister of Province No. 5 and Leader of the House is Shankar Pokharel.[1][2] The Speaker of the Assembly is Purna Bahadur Gharti.[3] Umakanta Jha is the current Governor of Province No. 5.[4]
