editI deleted the sentence from the Hale Boggs crash that stated the crash led to Congress mandating ELTs for civil aircraft. The law was passed in 1970 as described on the Hale_Boggs page and emergency beacon page under History/United States.Kotaqua (talk) 04:19, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
