History

edit

It is the only venue in Nepal beside Dasarath Rangasala Stadium to host international football matches and beside Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground and Mulpani Cricket Ground to host international cricket matches.Often regarded as this ground is one of the best picturesque cricketing venue in the world.[3]

Construction

edit

To Upgrade and beautify the Stadium Gandaki provincial government allocated Rs. 10 Million and Rs.20 by federal government, Rs. 30 Million in stake. But due to lack of coordination between two level government the allocated budget left unspent. Which is one of the main reason of the slow progress of the construction of this Ground.[4]
