The Hagerstown and Youngstown Branch Campuses each offer a 16-month diploma program in Aviation Maintenance which, like the Aviation Maintenance degree program, qualifies graduates to test for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification.

The Myrtle Beach Branch Campus diploma program can be completed in approximately 17 months. This program also qualifies graduates to test for the FAA A&P Certification. Students have the opportunity to attend Horry-Georgetown Technical College in conjunction with PIA in order to earn an associate degree in Applied Science in addition to their A&P.

PIA's associate degree programs are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

PIA's short-term programs are marketed under the name PIA Jump Start (formerly PIA Career Services), and include training in the following areas: Truck Driving, Heavy Equipment Operation, Computer Technology, and Computer-Based Office Training. The Jump Start programs are non-accredited programs that are designed to quickly prepare its graduates for new careers. PIA Jump Start programs are offered at training centers in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania; Clarksburg, West Virginia; and Dunbar, West Virginia.
