Penny J Beuning is an American biochemist. She is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She is an American Chemical Society fellow.[1]

She graduated from St Johns Preparatory school.[2] Macalester College, and University of Minnesota. She won an NSF CAREER Award.[3] She teaches at Northeastern University.[4]
