History
editA post office was established at Parkers Settlement in 1851, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1902.[3]
The U.S. Census Bureau began designating Parkers Settlement as a CDP in the 2010 U.S. Census.[4]
Geography
editParkers Settlement is located near the end of the Diamond Avenue stretch of Indiana 66.
Education
editIt is within the Metropolitan School District of North Posey County,[5] which operates North Posey High School.
