Nicholas Jeremy Rossiter (17 July 1961, Litton, Somerset – 23 July 2004, London) was an English television producer. He was arts producer for the BBC from 1987 to 2004.

Education
editRossiter was educated at Downside School,[1] a Catholic boarding independent school in the village of Stratton-on-the-Fosse (near the market town of Shepton Mallet) in Somerset, in South West England, followed by Greyfriars at the University of Oxford, where he read Modern History.[1]
Career
editRossiter worked for the BBC from 1985 until his death. Nick researched for Newsnight, Heart Of The Matter, Out Of Court and Look North; in 1986, he was selected for the corporation's production trainee scheme.[2] He moved to the arts department in 1987, and directed the film The Secret Life of Mona Lisa.[2]
Family
editRossiter married Bea Ballard, daughter of novelist J. G. Ballard in 1995 they had two daughters.
Death
editRossiter died of heart failure in London on 23 July 2004, six days after his 43rd birthday.[3]
