Nicholas Krekel (August 30, 1825 – February 6, 1910) was a German who served in the American army and best known as the founder of O'Fallons, Missouri. He left Bremen for New York in 1832. He married Wilhelmina Moritz in 1857. He founded O'Fallons in 1856, also serving as its first postmaster and railroad Station agent.[1]
