New Wehdem is an unincorporated community in Austin County, in the U.S. state of Texas.[1] According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 100 in 2000. It is located within the Greater Houston metropolitan area.

Geography
editNew Wehdem is located just off Texas State Highway 36, 8 mi (13 km) northwest of Bellville,[2] 23 mi (37 km) north of Sealy and 11 mi (18 km) south of Brenham in northern Austin County.[3]
