General elections are to be held on 8 February 2024.

Independent candidate Wasim Qadir (PTI) has won the election for National Assembly constituency NA-121 Lahore-V by securing 78,703 votes.

According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, his runner-up was Sheikh Rohail Asghar of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, who bagged 70,597 votes.

Overall voters' turn-out remained 40.08 percent.

A former member of the punjab assembly and former deputy mayor of Lahore Wasim Qadir is PTI's nominated candidate in Lahore NA-121 .One of the reason of defeat of PMLN candidate is the rise of TLP who took 24,882 votes and Sheikh Rohail Asghar also ignored the Conservative religious voters in the constituency. Waseem Qadir joined PMLN after meeting with Maryam Nawaz on 11th Feb, 2024 resulting in a massive trolling of him on social media by PTI supporters.
