Michael J. Allen (born March 13, 1972) is an American politician who serves as the current District Attorney for 4th Judicial District.[2]

Early life and education
editAllen graduated from Arvada West High School in 1994. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as an Aviation Electronics Technician until he was honorably discharged in 1998.[3][4]
Following his military career Allen earned a B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado in 2001. Later, he earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2005.
Legal career
editAllen served as a prosecutor at Johnson County Kansas District Attorney's Office, Douglas County Attorney's Office, and Kansas Attorney Generals Office before returning to Colorado. In 2011, Allen joined the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2021, he was elected as the District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District.[5]
Personal life
editAllen resides with his wife in Monument, Colorado.
