Magpie Games

Magpie Games is an American tabletop role-playing games publishing company founded in 2011, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.[1]

Their publications include Root: the Roleplaying Game, an adaptation of the board game Root,[2][3] the horror themed game Bluebeard's Bride,[4] and Urban Shadows, which has an urban fantasy setting.[5]

In 2021, Magpie Games started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the publication of Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game.[6][7][8] It became the most successful Kickstarter campaign for a table-top roleplaying game.[9][10]

Their games have won ENNIE Awards,[11] IndieCade awards,[12] and Indie Game Developer Network awards.[13]
