Lugotorix was a British chieftain who was captured after a failed attack by the four kings of Kent on Julius Caesar's naval camp in 54 BC. His name may mean "Light or Bright Associated with Lugus , Lughus, ".[citation needed] words like Loukio Lux Lugo Leux which is Gaulish & Celtiberian of the Celtic vulgar Latin branches like Hispanio Celto languages and Proto italic.
