He played his final three seasons in the OJHL with the Markham Royals during which time he was named to the league's First All-Star Team.[1]

After completing his collegiate career, Condotta, who went undrafted by National Hockey League (NHL) teams, signed a one-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL on March 31, 2022. With this, Condotta would join Montreal's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Laval Rocket, under a professional tryout (PTO) to finish the 2021-22 AHL season.[3]

In his first full season with Laval, Condotta played in 72 games, scoring 16 goals and 31 points.[4] On April 13, 2023, Condotta made his NHL debut versus the Boston Bruins, replacing an injured Mike Hoffman.[2][5] He scored his first NHL goal in his debut against Jeremy Swayman in a 5–4 loss to the Bruins.[6] On July 13, 2023, Condotta signed a two-year, two-way contract extension to remain with Montreal.[4]
