Liz Jarvis is a British politician who has been Member of Parliament for Eastleigh since 2024.[1] A Liberal Democrat, she gained the seat from the Conservatives in the general election held on 4 July 2024.[2] She began her career in journalism.

Early life
editJarvis was born to a social worker mother of Irish parentage and a military officer father from Hampshire, England. The first in her family to go to university, Jarvis graduated from the University of Essex in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in American literature.[3]
