Macrurocampa gigantea

Macrurocampa gigantea is a species of moth in the family Notodontidae (the prominents).[1][2] It was first described by William Barnes and Foster Hendrickson Benjamin in and it is found in North America.

The MONA or Hodges number for Macrurocampa gigantea is 7972.[3]

This species was formerly a member of the genus Litodonta, but was transferred to Macrurocampa as a result of research published in 2021.[4]
