As Player Dave Boyd 9 premierships, port adelaide and state selector for 25 years, 222 games played consecutive, never missed a game.186 goals Vice president of port adelaide and sanfl director and board member. Hall of famer then hall of Fame selector of commitee and players for over 20 years. Year 2000 was awarded the Australian sports award and it doesn't stop there. Huge club donation also. A tuff dedicated true and commited port adelaide magpie.great Grandson jett mason boyd is following in his footsteps and is a serious player to watch, playing for phos camden (phantoms) under 13's
