Lalrinpuii (born 1962)[1] is an Indian politician in the state of Mizoram. She is currently serving as an MLA from Lunglei East constituency of Lunglei district.[2]) She is the first woman to become minister of Mizoram with cabinet rank on December 8 when she took oath as the Minister for health, social welfare and tribal affairs, women and child development and tourism portfolios.[3][4] Lalhlimpuii Hmar in 1987 and Vanlalawmpuii Chawngthu in 2017 were her two predecessors who held the rank of ministers of state.[5]

She is elected as the MLA representing Zoram People's Movement party defeating Joseph Lalhimpuia of Congress by a margin of 1646 votes.[6] She is one of the three woman MLAs elected in 2023 Mizoram Legislative Assembly elections.[7][8][9][10] In 2018, she lost to MNF's Lawmawma Tochhawng by 72 votes.

She completed here Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 2002 from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur.[11] She is married to Sapthanga Khawlhring.[11]
