Kari Liimo (born 6 March 1944) is a Finnish basketball player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1964 Summer Olympics.[1]

Liimo is the first Finnish basketball player to be drafted in National Basketball Association (NBA), by Los Angeles Lakers in 1969 NBA draft, as the 7th round 12th pick.[2] However, he didn't play in the league, as it could have threatened his position in the Finland national team.
