Jemisha Maadhavji (born 1996, in Leicester) is a British painter,[1] best known for her figurative paintings and portraits,[2][3] that have been exhibited in the Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery,[4] and have been featured in Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue.[5][6] A graduate of De Montfort University, she is the recipient of the Christopherson Collection Award and the Two Queens Graduate Award from the university.[7] In 2023, she appeared in an episode of Extraordinary Portraits on BBC1.[8]
