Jamie D'Souza is a British stand-up and sketch comedian.[1]

Early life edit

D'Souza grew up in Shepperton and attended Cardiff University[2] where he studied Maths.[3] He is of mixed Indian and Swiss descent.[4] His parents met at the University of Surrey Scrabble society.[5]

D'Souza supports the Arsenal football team.[6]

Career edit

D'Souza first performed in Edinburgh in 2017, where he reached the final of the So You Think You're Funny competition.[7]

D'Souza performed at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe along with Chelsea Kirkby in a show named 'Bad Boys'.[8]

In 2022, D'Souza returned to the Edinburgh Fringe with a solo show named 'Stop Drawing Willies On My Poster'.[1] The show was recorded and offered onboard British Airways' inflight entertainment system.[9] It was also made available on the streaming service ITVX.[10]

D'Souza wrote and starred in an episode of Laugh Lessons titled 'BBC Flats'.[11] He has also written for Never Mind The Buzzcocks.[12]
