Ivan Maksimovich Mnyakin (born October 30, 2007, Moscow) is a Russian tennis player, champion of the 105th National Championship of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) in the singles category for under 18.

Personal life
editIvan Mnyakin was born on October 30, 2007, in Moscow. At the age of 4.5, he started playing tennis under the guidance of Eduard Kudermetov, the father of famous tennis players Veronika and Polina Kudermetova.
In 2024, he completed the 10th grade at the American online school ICL Academy. Simultaneously, he is receiving education at a Russian online school.
Ivan Mnyakin is the son of Maxim Grigorievich Mnyakin, a well-known Russian entrepreneur working in the field of telecommunications and technology, who has been residing in the United States since 2021.
Career
editIn 2020, he took 2nd place in the RTT "Kirov Plant Cup" tournament among boys under 15 in St. Petersburg.[2]
From 2021 to mid-2023, he lived and trained in Spain. He trains in Russia, the US, and Spain.
In July 2023, he won the national championship of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) in Orlando, becoming the champion of the 105th National Championship in the singles category for under 18.[3]
In December 2023, he won the international junior tournament "Little Mo", organized by the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation (MCB), becoming the absolute champion in both singles and doubles categories.[4]
Since 2024, Ivan Mnyakin has been coached by Stanislav Bublik, the father and coach of the famous tennis player Alexander Bublik.
