In Greek mythology, Imenarete was a Euboean queen as the wife of King Chalcodon of the Abantes.[1]

Mythology

edit

Imenarete was the mother of Elephenor, one of the Achaean leaders,[1] and possibly of Chalciope, one of the wives of Aegeas.[2] In some accounts, the spouse of Chalcodon was called Melanippe[3] or Alcyone.[4]
