'Hospodi' is a concept album based on the Orthodox Liturgy of Death. Many people compare this album to the band's debut due to the difference in sound and writing, and due to the infamous fallout of the original group. In contrast to Batushka's first album priot to the split 'Litourgiya', 'Hospodi' has more atmospheric emphasis, and each song flows seamlessly into the next, creating a start-to-finish listening experience. The band's film director, Hiatsyntos, directed a short film for the album called 'Parastas', which was split into 5 music videos to promote the album.
