Game Night is an upcoming comedy thriller film directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein and written by Mark Perez. The film stars Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams, Kyle Chandler, Jesse Plemons, and Jeffrey Wright. Warner Bros. Pictures will release the film on March 2, 2018.

Plot
A group of friends meet regularly for their game night, and one night they find themselves investigating an actual murder mystery.

Production
On May 24, 2016, New Line Cinema hired Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley to rewrite and direct the film Game Night for Warner Bros., which Jason Bateman would produce through Aggregate Films.[1] In January 2017, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman, and Jesse Plemons were cast in the film for the lead roles.[2][3] In February 2017, Kylie Bunbury joined the cast, while in March Lamorne Morris, Billy Magnussen, Kyle Chandler, and Sharon Horgan had reportedly joined the film.[4][5][6][7][8] In April 2017, Jeffrey Wright was cast in the film to play an FBI agent.[9] It was reported that Francis Daley and Goldstein wrote the latest draft from the original screenplay by Mark Perez and Dana Fox.[9]
Principal photography on the film began early-April 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia.[10][11]
Release
Game Night was scheduled to be released on February 14, 2018 by Warner Bros. Pictures.[12] The release date was later pushed forward to March 2, 2018.
