Filippa Fotopoulou ((Greek: Φιλίππα Φωτοπούλου, born 20 December 1996 in Limassol) is a Cypriot track and field athlete who competes as a jumper. [1]

Career

In May 2022 she made her personal best with 6.79, just one cm less than the national record, which holds Maroula Lambrou since 1985[2] The same year competed in the 2022 European Athletics Championships – Women's long jump and took the 11th place with 6.54 and at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon in where she had three fault attempts during the qualification.

Personal life

Her twin sister Olivia Fotopoulou is also an international athlete, competing in 100 and 200 metres. Both sisters studied together at the University of Alabama.[citation needed][3][4]
