I can't get this picture to work when I click on it to enlarge - all I get is either various shades of blue, or a map in which all the blue and green is gone, and all I get is black and red (with a few blue bits marking rivers).--MacRusgail 20:19, 2 May 2007 (UTC) p.s. Also why is Grantham Sound marked "Detroit Grantham"?Reply

Oups ! My mistake : I forgot to translate Grantham Sound from my original version in French. I made the correction.
About the display, I don't know what's going on with WP-en : I too am not able to get a normal display of that map, but everything is ok on Commons and WP-fr. Sting-fr 02:00, 5 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Drilling into the image is reliably crashing my browser, which is Firefox/2.0.0.3 (Ubuntu-feisty) (a Linux version). And prior to drilling in, when the main image page presents, I also only have shades of blue. I suppose the problem could be unique to my installation, but it could also be some data quirk in the svg that triggers problems in some but not all browsers (which I'd call a bug in the browser with a potential work-around in the data). Probably not worth any effort unless others report the same problem... I wish I could see it... Studerby 05:59, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
There is still only water on this picture. Greswik 19:12, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK, I'll try to fix this bug in the next days. Sting-fr 20:15, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

My browser crashes when trying to access the image (Firefox 1.5.0.12 on Ubuntu Linux). Could we add some kind of warning to users that this is happening, now that the image is on the Mainpage? Balcer 04:40, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why not to update to 2.0.0.6? --Pudeo 10:51, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Does your browser work on other SVG images? 17Drew 14:17, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
The browser displays the svg images within a webpage, but when I click on the file directly, for smaller svg files I just get the source code and not the image. This probably crashes the browser when I try to access a larger file. So, this is probably a problem on my end. I will try to update to the newer Firefox version, thanks for the advice.
The fact remains though that many users out there do not have the latest browsers and they will probably experience the same crash problem that I had. For an image that is placed on the Mainpage and hence will be accessed by many such people, an appropriate warning (or at least an indication what is required to view the image) could be useful.
