I thought the range 2 von Neumann neighborhood also included the corners of the range 1 Moore neighborhood, i.e. all cells within taxicab distance 2 of the center. This image says otherwise.
Note that Golly 3.0 crashed while attempting to run a Larger than Life von Neumann rule on my Mac OS 10.13.2. LaundryPizza03 (talk) 19:20, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
