Deutsch: Die zweigeschossige Orgelempore der Jesuiten- bzw. Universitätskirche mit der Späth-Orgel im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk (Dr.-Ignaz-Seipel-Platz). Im Jahr 2004 wurde von dem Freiburger Orgelbauer Hartwig Späth (Opus 983) eine neue Orgel installiert, die gegenüber der Vorgängerorgel beinahe doppelt so groß ist und mit einer Höhe von rund 12 Meter sich über beide Emporgeschosse erstreckt: [1]. Die Vorgängerorgel mit 2 Manuale und Pedal aus dem Jahr 1926 stammte von Johann Marcell Kauffmann und hatte 28 Register. Von dieser wurden nur ein paar Schleierbretter und ein IHS mit Strahlenkranz wieder verwendet. Die neue Orgel hat 41 Register mit 2745 Pfeifen auf drei Manualen und Pedal (Quelle: Günter Lade (Hrsg.): Die Orgel der Wiener Jesuitenkirche-Universitätskirche (Festschrift zur Weihe der Orgel); Wien 2004). |
