Uppstoppad igelkottsfisk, blåsfisk, 1710.

Description
Svenska: Igelkottsfisken är brungrå till färgen. Uppstoppad med gräs och inuti finns även trä. I munnen finns käkbenet bevarat. Bruna små fläckar finns över hela fisken men den ursprungliga pigmenteringen är svår att tolka. Har varit uppskuren i ryggen och därefter ihopsydd med grov tråd. I sömmen har tråd fästats för upphängning av fisken. Ögonen borta och munnen delvis bortfallen - en del av käken eventellt intryckt i fisken. Stjärtfenan är välbevard men överiga fenor skadade, fragmentariska.
Igelkottsfisken är en av flera s.k. naturalier i Carl Gustav Wrangels samlingar av vapen, teknik och exotiska föremål i den Wrangelska rustkammaren.
Igelkottsfiskens placering i rustkammaren är noterad i slottets äldsta inventarielista från år 1710: "2 Runda fiskar Ekimus Mureimus".
Arten igelkottsfisk beskrevs 1758 av Carl von Linné.
