English: The Watch House, Coast Road, Littlestone This building, circa 1870, was linked to Littlestone Lifeboat Station and a row of black tarred coastguard cottages that were situated nearby on Coast Road (but of which nothing now remains) in that it served as a lookout for any shipping that might be in difficulty. It is now subject to a planning application (Y1O/0024/NMC) a non-material change to application Y09/0745/SH: Erection of two three-storey extensions and gazebo and associated groundworks to form swimming pool, terracing to garden area and vehicular access/parking area.
