English: Owens Valley penstemon (Penstemon patens) flower cluster, close. Shows many deep-pink flowers, tubular and with a typical penstemon "face" of two petal-lobes up and 3 down. At 6,200 ft (1,900 m) on west side of Lower Rock Creek, MonCounty, California, in the Eastern Sierra Nevada.
